Women’s Financial Literacy Workshops

In partnership with Knox City Council, ECLC is delivering free, online workshops on Financial Literacy.

Financial literacy is having the skills, knowledge and confidence to understand and manage finances including personal, household, budgeting and investing. In Australia, on average, women retire with approximately half the amount of retirement savings than men.

In a bid to bridge the gap and empower our community, Knox City Council, in partnership with the Eastern Community Legal Centre, will be hosting three free Financial Literacy workshops to provide knowledge, tips and advice to ensure our community feel confident and overcome any fears in navigating their financials.

The three workshops will be held online via Zoom and cover:

Workshop 1 – Make the Most of Your Money: saving budgeting and bills

31 May, 6:30pm

Workshop 2 – Prepare for the Future: superannuation and insurance

7 June, 6:30pm

Workshop 3 – Managing Debt

15 June, 6:30pm
