community legal education
ECLC can offer Community Legal Education (CLE) on various topics. ECLC staff and volunteers are passionate about empowering clients, workers and the community about legal issues relevant to them. We also understand that sometimes not all information is taken in on the day, so we try our best to resource clients and workers with legal information sheets and brochures for reading after we have finished the session.
ECLC provides compassionate, understanding, culturally sensitive and non-judgmental education sessions.
- ECLC requires at least 4 weeks notice to deliver an education session.
- A minimum of 6 people (clients/community members) are required to deliver the session. The agency must confirm 1 week before their session that they have the required numbers to hold session.
- Not all requests for education workshops will be able to be met. In this case, alternative options and/or information will be provided to the organisation.
