ECLC @ Deakin
Deakin University Student Association (DUSA) in partnership with Eastern Community Legal Centre (ECLC) and Barwon Community Legal Service (BCLS) are establishing a new legal service for Deakin University Students. The service will provide FREE and confidential legal advice, information, referral, and education. Legal Advice will be given on a face-to-face appointment basis.
Right now ECLC have appointments available for Deakin Students with a lawyer on Mondays & Wednesdays, at our Box Hill office – appointments can be made by calling (03) 9285 4822.
For students studying at the Geelong campuses who need legal advice, call Barwon Community Legal Service on 1300 430 599
Then from May 21st on-site appointments at the Deakin University Burwood & Waurn Ponds campuses will commence!
Located at the DUSA offices, students can access the Legal Service by going online to see if the Legal Service can help with your problem and to arrange an appointment. Alternatively students can make contact with the Legal Service via a DUSA Advocate (email dusa-advocacy@deakin.edu.au or call 1300 555 528) or by calling either ECLC or BCLS directly.
ECLC & BCLC will work closely with DUSA to develop a service tailored to the specific needs of Deakin students and young people. The service partners are looking forward to empowering Deakin University Students to resolve their legal problems.
For further information contact ECLC, BCLS or email deakin@eclc.org.au
